ABU GHRAIB, Iraq (Reuters) - Iraqi insurgents said they had seized four Italians and two Americans on the western outskirts of Baghdad on Friday.
A Reuters journalist saw two captive foreigners, said by the insurgents to be Italians, in a mosque in a village in the Abu Ghraib district. One was wounded in the shoulder. Both were weeping.

U.S. soldiers in a tank in the area near the village of al-Dhahab al-Abyad said they knew some Americans had been taken hostage, but had no details.

No one in the Bush administration was shaking the trees. I wonder why, when everyone's hair was on fire, that nothing was done. They should have been hollering down the halls of the CIA and the FBI...hey what do you know about Al Qaeda and the sleeper cells...get to the front of the line today!

It was known by then that the WTC was attacked by Al Qaeda, and the LAX bomber was Al Qaeda. Then the chatter goes to "hair on fire level" and nothing done?

Aw heck, these PDB's are boring...I'm gonna go to Crawford and do some catfishin', Condi and Tenet can handle it. August is so nice in Texas. GWB
