You are kidding right? You aren't Rummy are you? He's just as delusional.

There's fighting in 8 cities including Baghdad very near the Green Z one. We don't know who exactly is fighting and it's more than just Sadr's militia. It's also the Sunnis and whoever else has taken up arms.

"...In London, British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said the situation in Iraq was the most serious yet faced by U.S.-led forces.

“The lid of the pressure cooker has come off,” he told BBC Radio. “There is no doubt that the current situation is very serious and it is the most serious that we have faced.”..."

There's no doubt that the US has sufficient military strength to quell any rebellion but that's missing the entire point. We're supposed to hand over the country to someone (yet to be named) in less than 90 days. There's supposed to be security, peace and reconstruction not renewed fighting a year after the invasion.

The fact that Bremmer incited this latest round of violence is mind-boggling. What was his purpose? What was he trying to accomplish? Is he trying to make it impossible to meet the June 30th deadline AND blame it on someone else?

Get the world along with the Muslim countries to rebuild Iraq. Right now it is not even the US contractors' exclusive paradise but it is Halliburton first and the crumbs for the US contractors. That is what is making the Iraqis mad in that Bush and his cronies are getting rich at their expense.
