Cheney-Bush should not be waging war against all Arab peoples. Your post seems to support that notion. The real problem since Cheney-Bush pulled out of Afghanistan (and also before 9-11) has been Cheney-Bush themselves. They could have stopped 9-11 if they'd be on the ball and Iraq has indeed turned into a collosal blunder. It really is another Vietnam. Kerry will have his work cut out for him trying to start over and do things right.

thanks for sharing.. it appears this is true for the trained police in Iraq who seem to have vanished.

It appears Iran is pumping money into the battle hoping to gain some control over Iraq. Not knowing these people but watching lot of tapes on cable. it looks like a watts in LA two decades ago. the young seem to be running wild, little kids are the ones jumping up and down in the majority of the pictures. I expect many families have locked themselves up in their homes hoping for things to calm down and be able to go back to living a relatively quiet life.
I believe anytime there is high unemployment , throw is some religious or political agitators you will get young men to follow esp. if you have some weapons for them to fire.

I expect this will not change until Iraq leadership take over the country. Unless these people , the religious leaders, their police are willing to take control over this mess it will continue. Iraq leadership , is nowhere perhaps this is the result of not being able to do anything for decades but robot actions. It's as if they do not know how to run an organized society.
