I've been looking at the vote breakdown vis-a-vis the Electoral College. I know the Mass Media wants to talk about raw percentages but we both know that's horse puckey.

The states that are up for grabs are states where the economy can make a tremendous difference, I agree.

It doesn't matter, in the long run, whether Bush can deliver his "safe" states. If he can't, he's dead. But even if he can, he's still got to persuade some of the toss-ups.

I agree with both of your and CB's points. But I also think that no politician or political party can afford to ignore the politicizing of the Commission.

If the Clinton comments prove true, and not those of some incredibly bad joker/mimic, I think they eviscerate whatever credibility Clarke may have had and further guarantee an even handed report.

As to Kerry's winning the election if the war goes badly... Well never say never, but if he can work his way from anti-war enlistee to Commander-in-Chief of a war time America, I swear I will quit!

...Whatever it is I'm doing.
