DJ, in the comedy movie Private Benjamin, there is a classic scene where Goldie Hawn complains about the rigors of basic training. To paraphrase: "This isn't the Army I signed up for. I signed up for the other Army, you know, the one with the condos and hot showers." And so now we Americans have come to that point in Iraq. This is not the war we signed up for. We signed up for the other war, you know, the short one where our military power provided the leverage to knock out Saddam and turn the country over to the good guys.
