The Japanese emperor was sick of fighting. The Japanese, like us, love life. As do most people. Including, I dare say, most Muslims, that's why they brainwash kids into killing themselves.

Also, when the Japanese emperor gives a promise, he keeps it.

Edit: I posted that Japan is a guilt culture, like ours, but googled to make sure, and see that Ruth Benedict thought it is a shame culture. I may be confusing Japanese concepts of honor. I don't get the sense that honor, as we understand it, is something that matters to Iraqis.

Iraqis appear to have no boundaries against killing helpless, defenseless people, whether very young or very old. That may just be tribalism? Only your tribe is human?
