well, betting the future of the world on "some reason" and an "undefined feeling" may not be the best strategy for humankind. unfortunately, the attitude of those in charge is not much different from what you described.

why not read up on the subject and then you will have specific reasons and defined feelings. if you do so, my guess is that the feelings you will have defined will be the opposite of the ones you described.

<or some reason I do not sense that oil will spike substantially, and have this undefined feeling that other energy sources will replace oil for generating electrical energy and as such the present oil supplies are reasonable>
