I disagree with you on how Rice is perceived. Go back and read my post. I'm not going to repeat. There was nothing different. Most won't see anything different in the way Clinton adm handled OBL and threats.

As I said, they get thousands of threats and only a psychic would know which one is coming true.

It's all besides the point anyway. If Kerry wants to win, he has to say how he would do it differently, not just that Bush sucks or Bush screwed up. It just isn't going to fly IMO.

E.g. come out with a plan that combines intelligence agencies, changes laws that protects against domestic surveillance, make changes in the Patriot act but keep good parts. These are the tough decisions that can be criticized by both sides. So far, Kerry has avoided these type of details and, if it were Bush, the people who post here most often would be all over Bush.
