Totally absurd.
If you believe that you may as well pick up the daily tabloid at the grocery store that says martians are plotting the world destruction.

It is a waste of time reading such nonsense.

yuan revaluation.....the coming economic disaster...

Lessee.. Bejing is going to drastically break the USD peg and put the jobs of over 200 million Chinese at risk?

After all, that's an approximate figure that relates to a break-down of the annual trade between China and the US, divided by the GDP per capita.

I certainly can see them gradually permitting the yuan to be revalued, but I don't see anything drastic. This would be a political concession to the Bush administration (as well as Japan and Europe who are having difficulty competing).

It would put quite a few of their commercial loans at risk, would that not?

After all, I believe it's rumoured that some 50% may already be non-performing.

So drastically revalue the Yuan, stifle Chinese company's ability to export to US markets and generate revenue to pay off those loans?

Hard to believe, given the conservative nature of the Chinese leadership.
