t, I'm not talking about funding Star Wars et al, I'm talking about alternative energy. And while I'm right with you on being reticent to "just throw money" I do believe that the past couple of decades have proven that energy is an issue of primary importance to America. As such, I have no problem using Federal money to push new technologies past "the hump" and into the private realm. This middle east crap makes me sick, were it not for our need for oil, we could walk away and never look back. It's like a sick dependancy thang.....
