Mauldin is a big fan of Bush.
I totally blasted one of his letters and he actually thanked me for my response.

That said, I do believe he is more or less unbiased when looking at economic data. However, he will attempt to put things into his muddle thru theory whenever he can (but so far it is working)

Change the 'or else' to 'and' and you have it right.

I quit reading the dumbass a long time ago.

Nothing but a Bush ass kisser imo. His muddle through shit is just a facade, that in essence allows him to continually say he is somewhere on path.

The Republican party has turned into a bunch of Bush cronies, networking for handouts and votes. They need a Goldwater to step to the fore. McCain is okay, but they more or less have him loosely muzzled.

I think there are some rumblings going on underneath (the Republican party), just barely audible. But the rumblings will erupt if Bush loses. Probability getting better for that to happen. Diariha (?) is good for parties, not only good a necessity. The Dems are probably about done with the worst of their episode on exlax. They need some young blood to step up though, and it hasn't yet happened. Nancy Pelosi doesn't cut the mustard.
