When politicians say "tax the wealthy," all of us full time middle class workers hold onto our wallets.
Ain't that the bloody truth!

I never knew I was wealthy until a politician in DC told me. I thought I was a working stiff, going in at least 5 days a week and paying a mortgage.
Boy, it's great to find out I'm "wealthy"! Too bad the only benefit I get from it is more taxes.

I'm in Silicon Valley. $200,000 here will not get you a small condo. Things aren't much better in SoCal. Nyawk? Fuggedaboutit!

YOu may find this amusing.

Clarke cracks me up. Clearly he was part of the bureaucratic failure that led to 911. Now that he has a book to sell, he has nothing but bad to say about- -leaving out that he was it.
