Lizzie. What is terrible is that the Bush admin stuffed the intelligence to further its Iraq invasion agenda.

Women were better off under Saddam. In fact, to the extent it was available, healthcare was given everyone, education was free. I'm beginning to think the mass graves were filled with the bodies of hundreds and thousands of soldiers and civilians killed in the last Gulf War. Saddam was bad, was a thug, but Thursday's massacre of 450 Iraqis in Fallujah doesn't make us look much better. People were forced to bury their dead in a stadium. I suspect most of those killed were innocent of anything other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And don't get me wrong, our troops are the best and the bravest. What Bush is having them do is wrong.

The depleted uranium wmds we dropped hurt the Iraqis, and our soldiers suffer from the effects as well.

Bush wanted to remove Saddam from power. Well, there's one thing he did. Actually, it was the Kurds who captured Saddam.

Oddly enough, women and Christians were arguably better off under that murderous thug and secular despot than under the current situation in Iraq. Even the foreign reporters are now covering up in veils and are getting Taliban-like responses from even little boys in the street.

OMG

Fundamentalists R Us.

The IGC has already adopted some Sharia laws regardless of what Bremmer blabbers.

This thing is weird and getting weirder.

>>> holy cow, I just read some of that PDB.
It actually gives me a GOOD feeling that our intelligence is not as bad as we thought! What is bad, very bad, is our leadership. Fortunately that is about to change.<<<

That's a very interesting interpretation, Lizzie!
