I think Bill Clinton is the best man for Kerry to pick. If not him maybe McCain. My third choice right now is John Rockefeller.

I can see why someone might say a governor might be the best pick because an ex-governor would most likely be someone who Karl wouldn't be able to ... to ... well you know what Karl likes to do to political opponents.
Well, not as much anyway. If Jesus himself was running against junior Karl would say he supported raising taxes on the money changers 350 times or at least favored outsourcing their jobs.

It's shocking that Bush's approval rating is as high as it is...Some polls show Kerry with a small lead BUT Bush has made so many reckless decisions...A local Barnes & Noble in Michigan told me their entire national chain has sold out of John Dean's new book...this could be a good sign...I heard an NPR interview with John Dean this morning and he is quite compelling...His new book is available on Amazon...

John Dean's book "Worse Than Watergate" should be required reading for everyone who has ever been stuck in an airport terminal having to watch a Fox News broadcast. We have sadly become a nation of apologists for the ineptitude, deceit, arrogance and obsessive secrecy of the Cheney-Bush presidency - and our country will have to live with the results long after Bush is expunged from office. "The Bush presidency has taken the wind out of the sails of democracy," says John Dean - and he should know. Our country's fall from grace is laid painfully bare in John Dean's well-balanced, solidly researched book...>>

The 9/11 commission meetings and the escalation of violence in Iraq have been the big stories.
Then, there is Bob Woodward's new book. Because of these stories, I haven't thought about Kerry's
running mate.
