Yep, Pal tactics. Shoot'n'whine. Do we hear a single word against the Ba'athist thugs who started the shooting, or Al Sadr's thugs? Of course not, only the US response is condemned. The US must not respond because - shudder - they kill people. Well, the Bin Ladenists and the Ba'athists have been killing a whole lotta people, like your friend Abdullatif Ali al-Mayah, and whom do you condemn? Not the killers, naturally. The CPA.

So, let me get this straight. You want the CPA to condemn somebody. You want the US occupation never to shoot back and to lose. If they do, Iraq will have a civil war of not three factions but hundreds, and Hizbullah and Al Qaeda will feast on the carcass like the jackals they are.

But that will be okay, because all the killers will be Arab.

All this under cover of whining for "elections", which ONLY the Coalition protection wants to provide, or can possibly provide. Trust me, neither the Ba'athist thugs of Fallujah or Al Sadr's thugs in the South are remotely interested in elections. They know very well that all the support they can draw comes from the muzzle of a gun.

So, if elections are your be-all and end-all, why don't you blame the thugs preventing them? Is anyone else going to give you elections? Notice how Arabs can never be held responsible for anything. Unless they work with the Americans. Then it's their fault too.

This is interesting:

Report: America hated by all people on Earth, several smart monkeys

March 25, 2004

An alarming number of world citizens and intelligent primates hold anti-American views

WASHINGTON — A new survey conducted by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center show anti-American views are held by everyone outside America in addition to a growing consensus of intelligent primates. One year after the invasion of Iraq all people around the world oppose President Bush, and look unfavorably at U.S. motives in the region.

The findings suggest that America’s international public image has fallen even farther than had been previously suggested, as primates were never included as an official demographic prior to this study.

“It’s one thing for France and Germany and Spain and all Muslim nations to hate us, but they are technically the same species as us,” said Harvard Professor of Anthropology Henry Davis. “What’s intriguing here is that this hatred spans across varying life forms. This is a new kind of symbiosis that has never been observed before in the history of nature.”

“We’re even seeing some preliminary results now that some types of birds have strong feelings about the war in Iraq, but more experiments are necessary,” said Davis.

Some scientists believe that a new type of macro-evolution is taking place which was spurred only by the actions of the United States’ foreign policy.

“Thank God for America’s rush to war! It’s brought all creatures on the world together as one,” said a grateful researcher who was excited about the prospects of the discovery.

Sam, this article has little credibility with me because it ignores the Baathists and Islamofascists who are killing CPA and Iraqi folk, mostly Iraqi folk.

All the CPA behaviour she claims she places in no context. None.

Frank,
Just ran into this article.

Sam,

Just read this article. Interesting piece. Thanks for posting it.

I notice that some of the responses to this post criticize you/it because it/you don't say everything it is possible to say. My recommendation to them is to hear it as a voice, in this case a voice we don't hear often. Add it to the other voices we hear to make up your own mind. Don't discount it simply because it doesn't say the exact thing you already believe.
