Am I correct in thinking that a combination of Pest Patrol and NAV will catch "all" viruses, trojans, worms, and other very bad stuff? That is, assuming proper use and updates.

Have to tell you, this is a frustrating experience; I was very happy to get home to my pc which is running just fine, thank you.

The description you linked for VBS_FREELINK was right on; however, Trend Micro didn't really remove it. It's not caught with their scans but does come up on bootup.

I've sent an email to their support folks for assistance.
