I've heard it said that junior senior was doing secret deals with the Iranians so they would keep the hostages to insure a victory for Reagan. I doubt this is true though because the Iranians probably would have leaked it by now to discredit America.

Frankly I think that Shrub got into office because the RNC lies profusely and without remorse and because the American Public is gullible. The Supremes, the lack of fight on the part of the Dems, the weakness of Gore as a candidate...all contributed to make this miscreant thug the head of the US.

It's easy to see how Hitler came to power. It can happen again.
