Post-911 Bush is more willing to fight terror than any alternative I know of. I am not at all convinced that either Bush or Gore would have gone into Afghanistan after 911 as Bush did. In particular, I see Kerry as putting his finger in the wind before taking any position. I fear that even if he were to adopt a hardline stance, he wouldn't have the determination to stick to it in the face of difficulties or criticism. A Kerry President would make me very worried.

Getting back to your post, I can tell it bothers you that this Kerry thread is more about Bush than Kerry:

That is the intention of this thread: Kerry or 3rd party.

But you will notice that it is not just us Bush supporters who make it so. Most of the Kerry people are much more obsessed with being anti-Bush than pro-Kerry.

Hey, I'll be happy to post on Kerry. He has a record and I don't mind posting on it. Since you devoted a short paragraph on what you liked about Kerry, I'll do the same. I like that Kerry voted for the Iraq war resolution. I like that he voted for education reform (the No Child Left Behind Act). I like that he voted for the Patriot Act. I like that he voted for tax cuts in 2001. I'd like Kerry even more if he had not abandoned those positions after he got in the Democratic primaries.
