The story has been beaten to death but it will get more play because of the Bush admin's political blunders. Bush could have avoided this whole ugly process by saying on 9/11: "I apologize to the American people for any and all mistakes that were made during the months leading to this attack, and accept full responsibility for all of them. We will not rest until we know how this failure in security came to pass, and how it can be avoided in the future." Instead he chose to cast himself as the hero of the western, he has no one but himself to blame for all the attention this is getting from the media.
