How, if they never tell their audience in the first place? The Arab press is reporting the "massacre of Fallujah" (think: "massacre of Jenin") and figures are being provided accordingly. It would be nice if the American reporter gave some tip-off to his audience that he did not consider the officials of Fallujah and the US Marines equally credible sources. Reminding the audience that the Marines say they have taken pains kill as few non-combatants as possible, and that all the combatants arrive at the hospital without uniforms, would help.
