Give Saddam back power, says the Saudi paper. Amazing huh, that anyone would even print that. Cheney-Bush are actually making the Arabs miss Saddam.

It's interesting, I don't think anyone has a handle on what is going on in Iraq including the Iraqis. It's a mess of a power grab and it could go off in any direction at any time. I would say it was derailing the US plan but the US has no plan except to pump oil. To that end it was planning a huge military base, a huge "embassy" aka government and whatever else was required in order to be able to pump oil in peace. Since there's no discussion about anything in the admin, Cheney/Rove will have to come up with a new plan for getting the Iraqis to behave as they want them to behave...like spineless Dems. Ooops.
