Being a revisionist is like saying, "had I known, I would have moved mountains" when the truth of the matter is that based on what Bush did know, he could have, minimally, in all prudence and justification, heightened the NORAD alert stations of air force interceptor jets at locations close to New York and Washington. Had those planes been intercepted fewer people would have died, those landmarks would have remained and the US economy would be stronger than it is.

Hey, Jake, now you're trying to be a revisionist by making excuses for Bush. What I said above is not far-reaching and would have been a quite logical response for Bush after having reviewed the August 6, 2001 intelligence briefing.

And speaking of matters revisionist? You think that if Bush actually requested the intelligence briefing on Al Qaeda that he would have gotten only a page-and-a-quarter long document? Sorry, pal--Bush and those defending him are lying again! Mere logic says so!

Do you think FoxNews has the guts to ask the president this question, why he didn't order interceptor jets close to New York and Washington on a higher alert in response to the PDB? I mean they get more access to the president than any other network.
