I'd venture to guess that most people who call into C-SPAN are not gullible folks.

Chris,

Re: the calls run 10 to 1 against Bush!
He even held up the phone, and showed the number of lines against Bush all lit, with only one line for Bush lit. So what you see on CSPAN is fair and balanced, with CSPAN'S thumb on the "right" scale.

If you are being sarcastic about "fair and balanced" you need to provide some emoticons to overcome the deficiencies of this brittle medium.

There is absolutely nothing fair and balanced whatsoever about C-SPAN today. For instance, if they were "fair and balanced" they would be showing their viewers the proceeding of the 9/11 International Inquiry in San Francisco deceptiondollar.com
to balance the lies, deceit and whitewash that is coming out of the Kean Commission.

If C-SPAN were "fair and balanced" it would invite Ellen Mariani and her attorney on the program to discuss her RICO lawsuit against George Bush et al for complicity in the planning of 9/11.

If C-SPAN were "fair and balanced", it would read from the Carol Ashley (Families of 9/11) letter, exposing what a fraud the Kean Commission is:
911independentcommission.org

If C-SPAN were "fair and balanced" they would not have hosts like Steve and Pedro on their programs that engage in extremely selective decisions on which news items are worthy of mention on the air, articles with a clear bias toward the viewpoint of corporate interests, the AEI, Club for Growth and Heritage Foundation agendas.

And the list goes on.

The last thing one can say, without being completely sarcastic, is that C-SPAN is fair and balanced.

Fairly unbalanced is closer to the truth.
