Well, we all would like to believe that the President was acting in good faith, predisposed to attack Iraq or not. The intel folks are on record now saying that the info given to Bush was full of caveats, doubts and contradictions. So, you're left with two choices:

1. Bush tried to "sell" Iraq by cherrypicking and vouching for the bad intel to scare the hell out of the Senators to vote for it.

2. Bush was just a hapless chump fed garbage by those supposed to inform him, knowing he was predisposed to invade because of his father's history and having their own agendas. ( see PNAC ) The people who fed him the garbage were appointed by him.

Either way, liar or chump, he should be impeached. If not for lying, just for plain incompetence. Not ONE head has rolled over this! Don't forget, we impeached Clinton for lying about a blow job. These lies launched a preemptive, elective war, costing thousands of lives and billions of our tax dollars, not to mention America's standing in the world community.

WAR ATROCITIES BEING PERPETRATED BY U.S. IN FALLUJAH

democracynow.org

Honest reporting, suppressed in the corporate and government media in the U.S., clearly indicates a policy of genocide and war crimes being perpetrated by the U.S. in Iraq today.

Who will tell the people? Bush's supporters here in the U.S. are among the most ill-informed people on the planet today. Bush's cheerleaders are totally deceitful.
