The national launch of the new EXPANDED ELECTION EDITION of Greg Palast's New York Times bestseller, THE BEST DEMOCRACY MONEY CAN BUY, begins on April 26, 2004.

"These are dangerous times, our president tells us, filled with guys with exploding shoes and athlete guys on steroids and guys marrying other guys. The solution: have computers sniff your DNA and vote for you." - From the Expanded Election Edition

Some revelations in the new Expanded Election Edition:

- The story of voter registrations collecting dust, illegal purges, and the mystery of millions of ballots gone missing . . .

- The continuing saga of the Help America Vote Act and the effort to make Florida 2000 the altar-piece of American suffrage . . .

- Fear For Sale: how companies, including the same company that fixed the 2000 Presidential Election, are cashing in on the "War on Terror" at home and abroad . .

- The "Third Ring" and the billion-dollar bonanza for George Bush's political pals to set up a new American KGB . . .

- The James Baker bacchanal among the Saudis, Exxon, and the White House . . .

- The 100 page "Iraq Strategy" document: a comprehensive schedule to create a free-market Disneyland in Mesopotamia - put together by Washington insiders and Lobbyists - that lays bare the true reasons our troops are still putting their lives on the line . . .

The new Election Edition of The Best Democracy Money Can Buy (Plume) will be available in bookstores Monday, April 26, 2004.

Morning of 9/11, after the first plane hit, CIA director, who supposedly, according to Rice and Bush, briefed Bush daily on terrorism, said, "I hope it's not that guy who was taking flight lessons!" Think he might have, during one of his daily briefings, told the president about the guy taking flight lessons?

Could it have been that Bush thought Tenet was talking about golf lessons? I mean Bush did seem to spend a lot of time on his vacation during that month, riding around in a golf cart complaining about Saddam!

More and more stuff is coming out which explains why Bush tried to avoid having the 9/11 Commission in the first place. How can America possibly reelect a president who stayed on vacation and ignored 9/11 warnings?

Hey, folks, what's that say? Any GOPwinger opinion care to check in on these questions?

I think Bush and Cheney should resign, apologize to the American families who've suffered family losses; apologize to the Iraqi people who've suffered losses, apologize to the members of the UN Security Council of whom they deeply insulted; apologize to the UN weapons inspectors of whom they also deeply insulted; apologize to the Arab League which requested that the war not happen; apologize to the both the American Congress, media and people to whom they lied, distorted, omitted and perverted the truth; and then take all of the campaign money in both the Bush and Cheney banks and assign five million of it to build a Memorial for all who have died and distribute the rest amongst all of the families who've suffered from this illegal and unnecessary war.

Both Bush and Cheney should go on national television and speak to the people as if speaking from a confessional to a priest. They should beg forgiveness and offer humility to each person they meet for the rest of their lives.

Failing this? Impeach them, retroactively if necessary!
