Bridge,

As a REFR long I say hear...hear. lol.

Id love to see license fees along the lines you suggest and possibly one day we will see exactly that.

Unfortunately, for now, REFR is still a start-up company and is still struggling to develop it's rather elaborate infrastructure. License fees along the line you suggest would only delay the day of royalties.

Why, for instance, at this point in time, would companies like Prelco be motivated to pay a lot of money for a license fee until and unless they are assured of a sufficient supply of emulsion and film from REFR's other licensees?

Why would Hangkuk and other suppliers be motivated to produce emulsion and film in large quantities unless there are end-user licensees like Prelco who are there to buy it?

Infrastructure is a major problem for REFR and can't be constructed overnight. I think it's wise to forgo, for now, expensive and complex fee structures. And, honestly, I assume that's what they have done.

It seems to me their top priority is to get the show on the road. Towards that end I find it difficult to fathom a better strategy other than the one they've adopted.
