You have your head in a box. I was in the Army during that period and there was no box to check about overseas duty.

I have exactly the same feelings on Veterans that Fred has.

They don't all think the same.

The fact is that Kerry's earliest support came from Veterans who admired his courage. So far no body on the right has been able to smear his name for the vast majority of Americans. People in America take the FUD put out by politicians about guys like Kerry with a grain of salt. However we do take the word of our Veterans seriously, whether we agreed or disagreed with our involvement in Vietnam, we do take the words of Veterans seriously. This is not a joke. People are dying, families are hurting, and people are coming back with injuries that they will have to live with the rest of their lives. And in Iraq it's even worse for the people there.
