Document from a real source? That I'd like to see.

But then again anyone entering the service at that time was volunteering to go overseas. They sent me and I didn't check no stinking box.

sh--About the box. If I document that he checked the box not volunteering for foreign service during Vietnam, will you admit that he was a self-serving coward and vote for anyone else?

I would admit he was nuts if he did. Did you volunteer for 'Nam? Did Senator KKK Chris Dodd, Reserves 1996 to 1975, volunteer for 'Nam. No. But someone kept him outa there. Did Ted Kennedy volunteer for 'Nam? Was Kennedy even in the reserves, or did his big brother keep him out of 'Nam? Or was he just drunk? Did he even sign up for SS?? Many questions.
I do not recall at any time of my military service if I was "asked if I wanted to go someplace". I seem to remember 'they' told me where, and when, to go , and I went.
