"Thank God she knows I'm a moron". I don't have that luxury, since I spent a few days with them this summer. Oy. I would probably have looked a little better if I had left my daughter at home.

No, not much in to poetry, he said, looking over at the "Cremation of Sam MCGee" which he found, xeroxed, and stashed to collect dust 6 months ago. The closest I ever came was either memorizing something for school, or having to read from this book when we were kids. I don't remember the name, but it was old in '50, so I think one of my folks had used it in school. We called it the Aunt Jemima Book, cuz we thought that was the lady on the cover. Something must have stuck, cuz I was able to tell Rosie the name, and who wrote "The Chargecard of Delight's Brigade". She thought I had googled it. Ha.
