Many who voted against action had a financial agenda - thats well known. Kerry also needed no such coalition in 1998 to enforce the UN resolution so why was it so important now? Voting against funding after the troops are there is beyond a protest vote - its wrong.

As discussed earlier....9/11 changed that landscape.

Maybe not yet although I think we may have made certain adjustments that could prove that wrong. It's just too soon to say if we're safer or not as safe.
