Hi Vi,

Well my first thought was an already established precedent.

When derivatives and leverage threaten - Greenspan chooses the public's money and a bail out.

In fact, the Savings and loan melt down in the mid 80's showed the public sector will absorb the negative impacts of of policy that impact the overall public in general.

Don't worry - be happy - we'll all pay if it gets that bad.

After all we'll label it differently and say it is good medicine - see how good we feel already?!

Bob
