Yes, its very sad. The BEST thing to help our troops would be for the vast majority of Iraqis to come to realize we are there for the duration and thus screw up the courage to come forward, turn in the terrorists hiding in their midst and make it plenty well known to the World that they APPRECIATE what the Americans are doing there. That would tend to drive out the foreign terrorists, make in difficult for the Baathists to operate and cause the UN and assorted European nations to send in help also. I am reassured the vast majority of iraqis are on our side after watching a spokesman for the Kurds, whose father is on the governing council speak on Bill O'Reilly show last night (though I wasnt pleased with the way Bill treated him). jdn
