I don't even know what the liberal label means. What is liberal? A bunch of dead head hippies?

This label just doesn't work or fit the democratic party. The way the right defines liberal is when a congressperson doesn't vote with the republicans. That's how they define Kerry as a liberal...he didn't vote with Strom Thurmond.

I guess that liberal means a person that cares about the country. The country that is made up of primarily middle class and now lower class income peoples. The republicans cater to the rich and to the big corporations, while pandering to the religious right and other right wing groups with divisive tactics.

If this country starts voting their pocket books, and I believe that 2004 will be the year of the pocket book voter, the democrats will be in the white house again. Hopefully the congress will remain some what balanced with a little more shift to the democratic side of the aisle.

"centrist-minded Democrat."

Then why are you backing Kerry? You should have been behind Lieberman!
