I have a gut feeling that Bush would not risk going before the American public tomorrow night without some big announcement favorable to the White House. Could it be some larger truce organized with Sistanni? or the rumored planted WMD's in the South? Any guesses? myron

My guess is that there will be no big announcement. Bush will try to give the equivalent of Blair's speech (less eloquently): we're staying the course, we're winning, it's not as bad as the news reports make it sound.
