Don't lie that JK would hand over power to the UN. That's a bald-faced lie typical of the rightwing propaganda machine. About on the level of saying Kerry "looks French". One of those sleazy propaganda gimmicks. You should be ashamed. JK would never hand over military authority to anyone else until Iraq is ready to self-govern. That will take years. But a decade if Bush is re-elected.

JK said he would hold onto US military control. The rightwing game is to try and make JK look like he'd give away US military superiority which is pure caca. The rightwing wants to go all-out in Iraq and get all our troops killed, then invade Iran and Syria, plus maybe North Korea. God knows with what army. This is their phony war on "evil" instead of the war on Al Qaida. Al Qaida attacked us, not Iraq, Iran or Syria. Sure we can be tougb with those countries, but the first thing we need to do is to bring the Iraq crisis to a relatively peaceful resolution by giving up control over the political figurehead role. Anyone who supports the rightwing Armegeddon goals is a mad man. It will never and can never work.
