“Did Zinoviev, Litvinov, et. al., do what they did because they were Jews?” I am saying they did what they did because they were human beings, and one thing that human beings are is ethnocentric. When Jews look at the holocaust, they are quite willing to paint with a broad brush. Not just Hitler was responsible for it, along with his gang of vicious kooks who lucked into power, but all of German society, all of Western society, Christianity itself. Just look at how quickly Jewish intellectuals hand out blanket indictments. (E.g., Charles Krauthammer, in the Wash. Post, under the title “Gibson’s Blood Libel,” says: “the blood libel that this story [of the crucifixion] affixed upon the Jewish people had led to countless Christian massacres of Jews and prepared Europe for the ultimate massacre.....”) That’s what I call painting with a broad brush. When I look at what the Jews have on their hands – an overwhelming intellectual responsibility for a party that piled up 25 million corpses --- you start making distinctions. The Jews who were communists were not really Jews. Most Jews were peasants, just like the Kulaks. Fine, yes, of course, I agree, but isn’t it odd that millions of Kulaks were murdered, while millions of Jewish peasants were not? Actually it’s not odd at all. It makes perfect sense once you penetrate the veil of confusion caused by political mumbo-jumbo, and look at what was really going on --- tribal warfare. It’s a trivial distinction whether one tribe fights another in the name of the God of the Torah, or in the name of a Classless Society, the same old passions are engaged, and the rotted corpses are just as fetid.
