Iraq is a big time bummer. We don't even have Baghdad secured after a year. Right now we have key roads and bridges secured, but our troops are tired, stressed out and very very edgy. It is a nation-wide combat/terrorism situation. The enemy could strike anywhere anytime. You cannot trust any Iraqis because who knows who is who. All of this could have been avoided with common sense planning and restraint beforehand.
