Sorry Bob, I just got back from a week in Colorado and while there were plenty of good looking girls there I'm kind of biased towards the farm girls in Kansas and Missouri. We've got a ton of good looking girls here in Oklahoma too which often makes things difficult for me as a single guy. Most of the Kansas girls are stubborn as they've picked up the wrong part of the Missouri girls' attitude, the Missouri girls are still holding to that "Show Me" attitude but the Oklahoma girls just keep getting more snobbish as time goes on. Why I don't know.

I don't know how this happened but it seems like almost overnight I'm dating an old friend from Michigan again, a girl from Missouri I just met and a real fiesty blonde from Oklahoma. I'm single - you're not - so that's allowed. :-) You have the most beautiful and caring wife in the world (I've still got the SA trip pix and memories) but I have none so I keep searching as it's about time I settled down as you did long ago to enjoy the better things in life.

I did some work on your SI profile but I'm still not totally happy with it yet. You'll have to pull it up in MSIE as the music doesn't seem to play in Netscape all the time. Only a few more tweaks and I'll bet you're happy with it.

Oh well, sleepy time and I know you traders will have a busy day tomorrow as I may have with other matters tomorrow. I am very concerned about what these energy prices are going to do to the economy but I'm very glad most of my money is very selectively invested in some telecoms for the long term. A lot of vacations are being put aside because of this and being turned into phone calls and internet stuff. You've seen my occasional picks and comments in our private area and I'll guarantee you my best one is to go short the Sept/Oct contracts on natural gas. Long on the Anti-virus companies because this stuff is starting to scare the heck out of people. AMD and INTC are a hold for now, we may get a bump in the "backlto school" phase but I don't expect it nor to I expect Dell or Gateway to show anything substantial as far as profits go.

Oil stocks are extremely attractive at the moment but take a lot of research to pick the right ones, I've got a little Valero and Tesoro but it's time to take a bit off the table. One that I'm sticking in for the long term is OKE - it's a darn shoe in. Want to play with a bit less risk? Try OGE.

SBC may prove to be an interesting play if you time it right with their strike still going on but I'm not playing it as I'm never that fast on the trigger. I've got some stashed away long term.

I think right now we should concentrate on what I've been discussing - especially the oil companies. I really like DVN for the rest of the year but i *may* have a bit of inside on that one as I do on the gas futures. Go light on my advice and if you don't know how to play the futures markets don't touch them.
