The execution of the post war plan has been lousy. If this was a corportation, heads would roll.

If this was a corporation, the planning would have occurred in peacetime, where dependable information and structure is far more available. The post-war planning has been lousy, true. But post-war planning is almost ALWAYS lousy because war is such a risky business. "No plan survives first contact with the enemy" That goes for the post-war too.

Sure, there have been many mistakes. But anybody who says he would have done better is almost surely just whislin' Dixie.
