The execution of the post war plan has been lousy. If this was a corportation, heads would roll. If this was a corporation, the planning would have occurred in peacetime, where dependable information and structure is far more available. The post-war planning has been lousy, true. But post-war planning is almost ALWAYS lousy because war is such a risky business. "No plan survives first contact with the enemy" That goes for the post-war too. Sure, there have been many mistakes. But anybody who says he would have done better is almost surely just whislin' Dixie. How tight is the Mullahs control in iran? I don't think anyone really knows. They don't have popular support, but who knows?
