He could have at least quit his texas vacation, convened the heads of the FBI, CIA and whoever else. Gees, the Massoud (sp) guy they caught in July or August raised alarm bells at the aviation school because he wasn't interested in learning how to land a plane, only fly it... Duh... Plus, there were FDA-types warning all the powers that be that airport security was a fiasco waiting to happen. It's true hindsight is 20/20, but as far as I can tell, the president was waiting for something to happen before acting.
