There is a small pinhole on the face of the drive cover.

That was the trick I couldn't remember - it worked - thanks tc!

I think I have a broken cd drive now. Every time we put a cd into the drive, the light comes on as if it is ready to launch the program, but then nothing happens. I have tried going to programs and launching through there and it keeps asking to put the disk in the drive and every time I hit ok, it won't take it. I have even tried going to "run" and trying to open it through the D drive but nothing. It happens on any disk we put in there. Any suggestions?
