You are more prone to be influenced by smear campaigns than I am. Look: everyone knows that a main point to take from Clarke vs Rice is that the blame game can get out of control. But the right wing began all the screaming about Clinton even before the rubble of 9/11 stopped bouncing. The Bush regime is more about dividing us along partisan lines and settling old scores than about trying to achieve a patriotic consensus in times of peril. Very, very sad.
