RtS, It is hard to tell what is going on today. In the early morning, it looked liked it would be a pretty good day going forward - and then the "good news" hit. It was so good, the market couldn't stand it. All that great news about retail sales being up 1.8 percent instead of 0.8 percent. Then the market decided interest rates would have to go up sooner than later. The market action reminded me of the old saying, "it couldn't stand prosperity".

Anyway, this appears to be a lost day! Now we are awaiting what INTC is going to say tonight. We have to be careful we don't get too much "good news" or the market might go into "respitory failure" overnight.;)

I still think we are going to get some "upside" to the Group and SOX prices from this earnings season, BWDIK. This day is pretty well shot - tomorrow may give us some new direction.

Don

Volume is light today because the big guys are scrambling to unwind their euro and gold positions.
