If the factions could agree on who that "George Washington" would be, and if he could, like Washington, be willing to give up power (something that astonished most of Europe at the time) both for himself and his offspring (a problem that Washington didn't have) in the ripeness of time. But we fantasize. May as well, I suppose, the alternatives aren't particularly appetizing.
