The blatant partisanship from the left is far more serious
than "equipment failures". You don't see foreign
terrorists & Arab media jumping all over "equipment
failures" as a reason to continue their jihad.

Whether one is more serious than another is irrelevant when it comes to assessing bias. The simple fact is that there have been myriad contributions to American casualties, some more significant than others, certainly, but, if one is interested in assigning blame, there's plenty to go around. Yes, it's likely, IMO, that the partisanship is a factor. Whether it's a bigger factor in casualties than, say, humvees or body armor that fail to protect is impossible to measure objectively. I understand why it irks you more but that doesn't make it a bigger factor, objectively. And even if it were, it's still beside the point.
