I remember citing references to a meeting with the Taliban in Berlin where the US representatives walked out after threatening to bomb them. IT would have been around the time of 9/11 that I posted it on one of your threads about the war. I"ll see if I can find it in the archives.

Yes, Bushies wanted a pipeline across Asia Minor, I know that. That may have compromised their attention to terrorism. It probably did, but I don't know the evidence.
