McCain cannot stand Bush. He was crossing his fingers behind his back and trying to hold down his lunch when he half-heartedly supported Bush. He calls Kerry a great man, honest, the real deal, a hero, his good friend, someone he trusts, etc. He called Bush "corrupt" and accused him of letting the congress spend like drunken sailors. McCain just isn';t rteady to switch parties yet, and may never. He knows he will end up the new GOP leader after the Cheney-Bush gang are swept out of power by a surprising landslide in November.
