Wolverines IMHO are first of all very agile, far faster then a Bear, secondly they are very aggressive, I have never heard of one as a pet, although people have tamed bears to some extent. I have to tell you a story about my dog. Paddy, a soft coated Wheaten Terrier (pure Irish strain not the American brand) weighs ONLY 40 pounds but has the heart of a lion and is also very agile. He was attacked by a very large doberman while I was walking him on a leash (the Doberman was loose). As this huge dog came roaring down on us with his mouth open I thought Paddy was a GONER. At the VERY LAST INSTANT, Paddy jumped straight up in the air (its reported a Wheaten can leap 5' straight up from standing on all 4's), twisted around, and when he came down he came down with his open mouth RIGHT ON THAT DOBERMANS NOSE and CLAMPED DOWN. The Doberman began squealing and eventually Paddy let go and the Doberman ran back into his owners garage. This same Doberman kicked the shit out of a Rhodesian Ridgeback in our neighborhood but he leaves Paddy alone now. jdn
