Kerry just doesnt understand the role of the UN. It has NEVER been to put down violence. Now that they have proven to be susceptible to fraud I wonder if the UN has any role at all anymore. jdn

The French and the Russians are just starting to realize that ordinary Iraqis may just hold them accountable for allowing Saddam and his cronies to overstay in Iraq and for actively trying to block their liberation. And yet these are the major powers that Kerry desperately wants to join what he calls our current coalition of the bribed and coerced.

France and Russia, which opposed the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, also have urged their citizens to leave the country or postpone traveling there. News of the disappearance of a French cameraman came soon after the advisories were issued.
