Whenever bush cant or wont answer a question he looks upward and pulls a talking point out of the air. He did this yesterday several times and to me this is worse than the smirk. Why did he go the press conf route? This is obviously not his favorite venue. mike

I thought the speech was OK but not significant enough to warrant pre-emption of AI. Personally I think Fox should have capitalized on this by having Randy, Paula, and Simon in the front row instead of Condi et al and satisfying both the political junkies and the low-brow AI fanatics. Randy- "George, George, George. Yo, Dog, whazzup man? You havin' fun, Dog? Dude, that just didn't do it for me, y'know? Little pitchy, man." Paula- "Oh, George, you know I love you. When you smile, you just make me happy. You look wonderful. Your tie is so psychedelic it makes me feel all warm and happy. I love you. We all love you." Simon- "George. That was truly dreadful. I don't think you read one word right. This should be your last speech. You just aren't good enough to be the American President."
